I am facing problems in previewing dashboards and taking a snapshot of excel, i will specify the problems in steps , i am in need of advises and suggestions, below is the detail of my dashboard created:
- I have used 40-50 queries from query browser and 2 queries as QAAWS.
- Other than this queries i have used much formulations in my xcelsius sheet, firstly getting raw data from query and then formulating using vlookups, indexes to display the required data.
- i have got charts and tabular data in my dashboard.
- The problem i am facing is when i put my dashboard on preview i know it would take 10-15 mins to preview, but when preview is load i get an error "Cannot access external data" this error might be because of QAAWS but then i have admin rights in CMC.
- After ignoring the above error, when i look my dashboard in preview mode, 2 of my charts does not show proper values (Looks like it did not collected the data properly) or sometimes that chart is blank. But when i go back in my query and refresh the data to see all the values have been picked properly or no, so in my quert browser it shows it is picking all the data but in preview it does not show the data properly (Missing values or blank chart) only 2 of my charts shows theses incorrect or missing values, rest all are fine.
- The other issue i faced is before i used to take snapshot in excel, but suddenly it takes a long time taking the snapshot and when its done. Only half of the data is proper in my snapshot excel sheet, rest are not proper.
I dont know why i am facing these challenges, may be because of queries or formulations used in sheets, but i cant find solution because most of my queries needs formulation in excel sheets only few queries i have formulated in database it self so that i extract the formulated data but the rest needs formulation.
